Emily and her co-founder Austin Lang are a great example of the effectiveness of the Lean Startup model as they continuously tested their assumptions by engaging first hand with their potential customers. The result was a very successful business that might otherwise have failed due to a series of invalid assumptions. Emily heads to Halifax on March 10th to tell her story to the judges.”
