ScienceDirect New Journals


The Library’s subscription to the ScienceDirect database provides full text access to over 350 journals in Social & Behavioural Sciences, over 900 journals in Health & Life Sciences and over 610 journals in Physical Sciences.

The latest quarterly update has brought ~20 titles. We have full text access to these 4:

Asian Journal of Psychiatry
Journal of Infection and Public Health
Policy and Society

To access ScienceDirect:

  1. go to the Library homepage at:
  2. on the left, click on Find -> Articles
  3. scroll down the screen to find the search box
  4. type in ScienceDirect, then click Search

JSTOR New Journals

The Library’s subscription to JSTOR (a multi-disciplinary archive of over 1000 leading academic journals) has most recently brought the following titles. Note the coverage dates of the first two!!

Amnesty Days results

On November 18th and 19th we held our bi-annual Amnesty Days.  57 students participated this time around and we forgave $271.00 in fines.  All food donated in lieu of fines was given to the Student Food Bank here on campus.  Thank you for your support and we look forward to doing it again in March!

What's up with the Library Lab?

I’m looking for a computer!!!

You may have noticed that the Library lab is closed for 3 days this week
from December 2nd to December 4th.  Mount Royal College is hosting the
2008 ACCOLEDS workshop and we will be using the lab for nearly all
workshops and presentations during this time. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause during this busy, CRAZY end of semester. If
you are looking for a computer lab where you can write papers, print, etc,
may we suggest the following:
