Library subject guides outage Dec. 22

On Mon. Dec. 22 we will be upgrading our subject guide platform. During the upgrade there will some downtime between when the old system goes offline and the new system becomes available – subject guides will be completely unavailable during this outage. We have scheduled this upgrade after the exam period ends in hopes of disrupting as few users as possible.

Blogs will be down Dec. 23

On the afternoon of Tuesday, December 23, several MRU websites will be offline for scheduled maintenance for parts of the afternoon between 1 pm and 5 pm.  

For the library this means we will be unable to access this Services Interruptions blog or Library News. Sorry for the inconvenience.

MRU Websites Offline 1am-3am

In the early morning of Thursday, December 11, several MRU websites will be offline for scheduled maintenance from approximately 1am until 3am. The sites include:,,,,, and all production Banner reports sites. Additionally, the Library Ezproxy system for accessing journal articles will be down for a short period of time during the maintenance window.

Artstor and Summon

It has been recently noted that Artstor images can sometimes not be viewed properly using our discovery tool, Summon.  This is because in order to properly view Artstor images via a Summon search, popups must be allowed.  Navigating directly to the Artstor database works normally and as expected, it is only when following summon links there is an issue.

To fix this problem you have to add the following URLs as popup exceptions in your browser settings: &

Choose settings > show advanced settings > Privacy > Content Settings > Popups > Manage exceptions > Add URLs
