Registration for Winter 2014 classes – January through April – opened on November 12. We’re excited to launch our convenient new online registration system. Now you can search for and register in your classes more quickly.
Every new semester brings new programs and courses. Continuing Education at MRU works closely with business and community to develop programs that address training needs.
For Winter 2014 we are pleased to introduce Agile Project Management. Agile practices help project managers face today’s challenges such as globally distributed teams and shifting requirements that demand rapid responses. Mount Royal University is the first post-secondary institution in Alberta to offer Agile Project Management seminars and exam preparation workshops for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
There are three new health care programs. Dementia Care is an online program that helps health care workers understand this increasingly prevalent neurological disorder and develop skills to support patients and their families.
Neonatal Nursing and Perinatal Nursing are designed for registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to support mothers and babies through the pregnancy, birth and post-partum periods. These certificates combine online courses with clinical experience.
If you want to find out more about Continuing Education programs in person, drop in to Information Night on Tuesday, November 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Roderick Mah Centre for Continuous Learning.
