Apply to Teach in the Immersion Studio for Winter 2020

We are currently accepting applications from faculty interested in teaching a Winter 2020 course in the Immersion Studio. This is an opportunity to partner with the Library to utilize this unique resource for teaching, learning, and scholarship.

Located on the third floor of the Riddell Library and Learning Centre, the Immersion Studio is a 360º projection room that allows for immersive multimedia experiences that enhance group learning and research.

This is an environment that supports simulation and context-based learning, providing opportunities to interpret information in relation to where and when it occurs.

Room Features:

  • Present images, video, and audio in 360º
  • Specialized surround sound system
  • Customizable furniture arrangements
  • Display content from multiple HDMI sources
  • Room capacity: 20-40

Use Cases:

  • Presentations
  • Exhibits/Galleries
  • Simulations/Training
  • Research/Data Visualization
