Redirecting links from Library search

2016-06-28 Update: The problem has been resolved and links are working as expected.

We are currently experiencing a problem where some links from a library search are redirecting to the Library homepage.  We are investigating this issue and attempting to resolve it.

In the meantime, if an item (ebook or article) has more than one link please try all the links. If there is only one link and it does not work, then you should be able to search for the title in the library’s traditional catalogue and link to it from there.

You may also search directly in your database of choice, the list of databases can be found here: http://libguides.mtroyal.ca/az.php

Error accessing resources off campus

Resolved June 27

You may experience an error when trying to access Library resources off campus.  We are working to resolve this issue. There are two things you can try to work around the problem:

  1. try a different browser
  2. remove the ‘s’ from the https in your URL and hit enter to reload the page
  3. clear your browser history to the beginning of time

Brief Service Outage for Library Catalogue beginning 3:55pm Today

4:35 pm Update: Library Catalogue and Account Service has been restored.

A brief maintenance service outage for the Library catalogue  is scheduled between 4 and 4:30 p.m. Services affected include:

  • Searching the traditional catalogue
  • Logging into your MRU Library account
  • Placing holds and recalls on items

We anticipate that the outage will last just a few minutes. If you experience problems when using any of these services, please wait 5 minutes and try again.

Brief Catalogue Outage between 4 and 5 p.m. on Tues., June 14

Please note that we have a 10 minute service outage scheduled for the MRU Library catalogue beteen 4:00 and 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 14th. Services affected include:

  • searching the traditional library catalogue
  • logging into and viewing your library account
  • placing and cancelling holds

If you experience difficulties using any of the above services, please wait 10 minutes and try again.

During the outage, you can continue to search for items and access journals and materials using the search box on the Library home page.
